Environmental Sustainable Designs Communities

Energy harvesting is most often more effective when done on a local but combined scale. For example, a group of houses, co-housing or small isolated community.
An energy benefit of such localised energy harvesting is the virtual elimination of electrical transmission and electricity distribution loses.
Archidiom intends this to be implement this philosophy in the Sunset Point and Broken Heads low energy community projects and in the future masterplan for Dodds Island. These design proposals aim to attain a totally off the grid environment or at least a very low carbon foot print.
